Ernest T. Oldani, 72, of Ridgway, died Monday, Aug. 22, 2011 at his residence following a lengthy illness.
He was born April 17, 1939 in Coal Hollow, son of the late Tanny and Bruna Pelleschi Oldani.
He married Marion A. Mendat, who survives.
He was a lifelong resident of the area and was a 1957 graduate of Ridgway Area High School. He was a member of St. Leo Catholic Church, Ridgway Elks and Kersey Eagles. He was employed for 42 years at Powder Metal Products, Inc. in St. Marys as a machinist/foreman.
Dave Rodgers, age 80, a former Ridgway resident, died Wednesday, Aug. 17, 2011, in Winston-Salem, N.C.
Mr. Rodgers is survived by his wife, Cathy, of Winston-Salem, N.C.; Steve Rodgers (Pam), of Singapore; Mike Rodgers, of Cary, N.C.; Doug Rodgers, of Rockville, Md.; and Jan Haley (Jeff), of Raleigh, N.C.; and two grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Anthony "Tony" Moscatello, 86, died Monday, August 8, 2011, at his home in Astoria, N.Y.
He was born September 18, 1924 in New York, N.Y., and later moved to Astoria, N.Y., where he resided all his life.
On September 10, 1949, he married Angeline Caggiano Moscatello at St. Leo's Catholic Church in Ridgway. She preceded him in death on April 10, 2007.
Tony and Angie made frequent trips to Ridgway to visit friends and relatives.
