William Bruce Beck, age 90, of Pleasant Drive, Warren, died Friday, July 8, 2011, at St. Vincent's Hospital in Erie.
Born Oct. 5, 1920 in Renovo, a son of Harold Reed Beck and Ruby Losey Beck, he married Betty Jane Caldwell in Brookville on Aug. 11, 1951; she preceded him in death on Oct. 15, 2003.
He was a World War II veteran having served with the Army Air Corps 439th Troop Carrier Group, 93rd Troop Carrier Squadron as a glider pilot and also was a veteran of the Korean Conflict in the 1094th Special Reporting Squadron as an Air Force officer at Manzano Base in Albuquerque, N.M.
