Shirley A. Fabino, 79, of 155 1/2 Parade St., St. Marys, died Sunday, July 24, 2011, at the home of her daughter Shelley Dush of Washington Street, St. Marys, after a brief illness.
She was born Oct. 7, 1931, in Kane, daughter of the late Hilding and Ruth Sawyers Anderson. On Sept. 24, 1948, in Ridgway, she married Archie J. Fabino, who preceded her in death on Jan. 14,1978.
Mary Lee Bloom, 55, of 4 Gillouly Ave., Ridgway, died unexpectely Saturday, July 23, 2011, at Elk Regional Health Center.
She was born April 28, 1956, in St. Marys, daughter of the late Robert H. and Loretta Hallinen Nussbaum. In 1975, in Johnsonburg she married Hubert J. Bloom Jr., who survives.
She was a lifelong resident of the area and was a graduate of St. Marys High School, Class of 1974. She was employed as an LPN at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys and Ridgway.
Eugene R. "Gene" Brechtel, 84, of 159 Terra Cotta Rd., Johnsonburg, died Saturday afternoon, July 23, 2011, at Pincrest Manor in St. Marys following a lengthy illness.
He was born Oct. 4, 1926, in Warren, son of the late Eugene F. and Madeline Weidert Brechtel. On April 7, 1948, he married Catherine J. Rezmerski, who died June 17, 1997.
