Jane Tell, 76, of Arroyo Road, Spring Creek Township, died Sunday, Oct. 30, 2011, at her residence.
She was born April 1, 1935, in New Bethlehem, the daughter of the late Lester and Frances Reitz. On October 7, 1972, she married William Tell, who survives.
She had resided in Spring Creek Township for 39 years. Mrs. Tell was a member of the Ridgway Church of Christ and the Heath Township Sportsmen's Club. She had been employed at the Five and Ten in New Bethlehem and as the secretary for Spring Creek Township for 31 years. She enjoyed reading, birding, and spending time with her family.
Janis M. Sample, 53, of 148 School St., Kane, and formerly of Wilcox, died on Monday, Oct. 31, 2011 at Kane Community Hospital following a brief illness.
She was born on August 19, 1958 in Ridgway, daughter of Thomas J. and Dorothy Dush Redmond.
She married Jeffrey A. Sample on May 14, 1982. He survives.
She resided in Kane for the last 22 years. She graduated from Johnsonburg Area High School, Class of 1976 and from Median Technical School of Pittsburgh as an Animal Health Tech. She was employed by Kinzua Veterinary Clinic in Warren for 10 years.
