ST. MARYS â€“ This weekend the Elk County Catholic and St. Marys Area High School marching bands are hosting their annual Sounds of Autumn band competition on Saturday at SMAHS Dutch Country Stadium.

Following an executive session late Monday night, members of the Ridgway Borough Council voted 4-3 to hire Kim Zimmerman as the new borough manager, taking over for Marty Schuller who retired.
