Potentially tainted pet treats could cause harm

Various types of pet treats outsourced to foreign countries have garnered national attention recently following the complaints of thousands of pet owners across the U.S. and Canada who have reported their dogs have been made ill, or even died, after consuming the treats.

ACS seeking drivers for program

ST. MARYS – Officials for the American Cancer Society, Inc. [ACS] are hoping that the new year will also bring new volunteer drivers for the Road to Recovery program.
The initiative provides rides to patients who have no way to get to their cancer treatment at a medical facility. Volunteer drivers donate their time and the use of their cars to get a patient to and from the facility that they need to travel to for treatment.
