JOHNSONBURG – A Johnsonburg man is facing drug charges after authorities, in raiding his home, uncovered what is being called a "sophisticated and substantial" marijuana-growing operation at the residence.
According to affidavits, Troopers with the Pennsylvania State Police Troop C Vice Unit were notified of the existence of a marijuana-growing operation at the 433 Second Ave. home of Edward Joseph Pisani, 54, by a phone call from an unidentified source on Sept. 4.
Area residents are encouraged to participate in the American Cancer Society Cancer Prevention Study-3, a nationwide study being conducted in St. Marys on Sept. 11 and 12 at the Sacred Heart Parish Center on Center Street.
