Discussion over updating a four-year-old control system or replacing it continued during Thursday night's Ridgway Township Municipal Authority meeting.
The township's current SCADA [supervisory control and data acquisition] system, built and installed by Emerson Process in 2008, controls and monitors the tank levels and pump stations.
Emerson Process proposed a cost of about $73,900 to update the township's current system with a 90-day window of opportunity that is due to expire during the last week of August.
