JOHNSONBURG – The basement of the Johnsonburg Community Center at 600 Market St. in Johnsonburg will be closed indefinitely beginning Sunday, April 15 due to mold in the swimming pool and archery room of the building.
Council accepted quotes from Kimball Environmental for $3,500 to remove the mold in the swimming pool and $6,200 for the archery room during Monday afternoon's regular borough council meeting.
Recreation Board president Ronald King said the basement can be reopened once construction is finished and the new dehumidifiers have been installed.
