Elk County commissioners tabled tentative agreements on Tuesday with the North Central Pennsylvania Regional Planning and Development Commission for technical support.
The agreements were $6,150 for 12 months for the county and a pact for $18,450 for 12 months for the county's 911 facility.
JOHNSONBURG – The Johnsonburg Municipal Authority held their regular meeting Tuesday night to discuss the progress of the waste water treatment plant.
According to Denny Lingenfelter of Uni-Tec, the treatment plant has remained in full operation since May 31.
"Operating results have been very good and within DEP limits," Lingenfelter said. "There was a DEP site inspection last week."
As of Sept. 1, the project has incurred costs of $14,277,659.23 out of a projected budget of $14,319,088.
The Ridgway Township Supervisors approved an anti-skid bid during their regular meeting Tuesday afternoon.
"We have an anti-skid bid, we bid jointly with the Ridgway borough and Ridgway Township," said chairman John Gardner.
The low bid was awarded to Paper City Transfer Company out of Johnsonburg for $18.75 per ton.
In other business, Gardner noted that the Elk County Commissioners approved an $11,000 paving project for the township.
Supervisors approved next year's minimum municipal obligation [MMO] of $6,026 for the employee's pension plan.
