JOHNSONBURG â Changes to the bus routes in the Johnsonburg Area School District have forced many parents to question their children's safety.
A large group of concerned parents attended Thursday night's school board meeting looking for answers to the change.
Ridgway Area School District superintendent Dr. Michael O'Brien reviewed the board's goals for the upcoming year during Tuesday night's regular meeting.
"As you know we started to and we will continue to review our goals to help us understand why we are here," O'Brien said. "One of our goals is that our students will become creative problem solvers with the ability to synthesize and analyze possible solutions to challenging problems."
Another goal of the board is to make sure the students are receiving comprehensive literacy skills.
SMETHPORT â The âRails To Trailsâ feasibility study has been finalized and now is available for public inspection at the county planning office.
The McKean County Board of Commissioners approved a resolution Tuesday that claims the âproject was completed in accordance with the grant agreement.â
âThe plan and related materials will be used to guide future recreation and conservation decisions,â the commissioners said in the resolution adopted at a meeting at the county courthouse.
