The Johnsonburg Community Center now offers a Zumba Fitness class on Monday and Wednesday from 5:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m.
The class is taught by licensed Zumba instructor Lacy Nicklas. Nicklas has been a licensed instructor since January 2011. When she moved back to the area to be with her husband, Nicklas decided she wanted to offer Zumba which she was so passionate about.
“I lived in Allentown before where I took Zumba,” Nicklas said. “When I moved here there weren’t any classes, and I figured if I was going to move somewhere with no classes I needed to start them.”
