JOHNSONBURG â€“Â Whether it was at the plate or on the mound, Taylor Feronti made sure the Rams would end up victorious Wednesday afternoon.
Feronti pitched a complete game for Johnsonburg and hit a go-ahead 2-run home run as the Rams won 3-2 over Curwensville Wednesday afternoon at Knothole Area Recreational Park.

JOHNSONBURG â€“ A Ridgway man was waived for court Wednesday afternoon by Magisterial District Judge George King on over 30 felony charges of child pornography.
Theodore Robert Rohr, 34, of Ridgway, was charged as a result of a search warrant served in November 2013 by the State Police Computer Crime Unit.
ST. MARYS â€“ Two St. Marys residents are facing felony charges in the theft of a vehicle that occurred Thursday night.
According to affidavits of probable cause, David John Krise, 31, of St. Marys, conspired with Alanna Nicole Lilja, 22, of St. Marys, to steal a white 2004 GMC Sonoma truck, which belonged to Frank Bauer, Lilja's stepfather. Lilja reportedly told officers that it was Krise's idea to take the truck to go to Philipsburg to buy drugs and try to sell the truck.
The Pennsylvania Department of Environmental Protection [DEP] has recently proposed cleanup of a Ridgway Borough-owned landfill site, located on Jakes Hollow Road off of state Route 948 in Ridgway Township.

Armed with a cooperative sports agreement between Ridgway and host school Johnsonburg, the Ramettes on Tuesday scored a 2-1 win over visiting Elk County Catholic in a softball game held at Francis S. Grandinetti Elementary School in Ridgway.
Starting pitcher Alexa Marciniak scattered one hit and an unearned run in five innings of work for the Ramettes before giving way to relief pitcher Taylor Roseto who secured the win with two scoreless innings.
