John D. Golebieski, 69, of 313 First Ave., Johnsonburg, died on Saturday afternoon, March 17, 2012 at DuBois Regional Medical Center in DuBois.
He was born March 1, 1943 in Johnsonburg, son of the late Bronislaw and Anna Simchick Golebieski.
He married Roseanne Parisi on May 21, 1966 in Force. She survives.
Mr. Golebieski resided in Johnsonburg most of his life, since 1975, but he lived briefly in Raleigh, N.C. and in Erie.
He graduated from Holy Rosary School and from Johnsonburg High School, Class of 1961.
Thomas C. Hansen, 74, died Saturday, March 17, 2012.
He was born Feb. 3, 1938, in Erie.
He was employed by Motion Control Industries from 1969 to 2002.
He is survived by his wife, Susan; a daughter, Cindy, her husband, Ed, and their three children, Eddie, Emily, and Haley; a son, Michael; a son, Gary, and his wife Shannon (Strom) and their three children, Amberlin, Trevor, and Tyler; two sisters, Mary Lou and her husband Clarence of North East, and Linda and her husband Leslie of Erie; and several nieces and nephews.
Rose Marie Ginther, 85, of 301 Ford Rd., St. Marys, died peacefully at her home on Friday, March 16, 2012 surrounded by her family.
She was born Nov. 17, 1926 in St. Marys, a daughter of the late Marco and Helen Delisimunovic Paropacic.
On Nov. 28, 1953, she married Gervase Ginther, who survives.

Ridgway (29-1) rallied from seven points down for a 58-51 victory over VisionQuest in the PIAA Class A boys basketball quarterfinal at Clarion University Friday night.
Ridgway now plays in the Western Final and state semifinal against Lincoln Park Charter on Tuesday night. Lincoln Park downed West Middlesex, 47-45, Friday night. The time and site have yet to be announced.
Students Maria Jones and Camron Marciniak of the Tri-County Karate Academy of Ridgway recently attended a Tang So0 Do Region 22 Tournament and were awarded the grand champion title in the male and female category under 16 years old. Jones is the daughter of David and Judi Jones of Wilcox and Marciniak is the son of Dave and Jane Marciniak of Johnsonburg. The grand champion title is awarded to the student who has the most point values combined from each category including sparring, forms and weapons.Â Â Â Â
Patricia A. "Pat" Feronti, 77, of 326 Powers Ave., Johnsonburg, died Friday afternoon, March 16, 2012 at Select Specialty Care Hospital in Erie following a lengthy illness.
She was born April 13, 1934 in Johnsonburg, daughter of the late John and Eva Mishenko Mackoviak. In 1956, she married Keith VonArx, who preceded her in death in 1999. On May 3, 2002, she married Alfred "Bud" Feronti of Johnsonburg, who survives.
Doris E. Eckert, 81, of Mechanicsburg, formerly of Ridgway, died Friday morning, March 16, 2012 at the Messiah Village, Mechanicsburg.
Born March 26, 1930 in Ridgway, she was the daughter of the late Robert Fingel and Anna (Anderson) Johnson.Â She was the wife of the late Thomas J. Eckert who died Nov. 14, 2008.

ST. MARYS - The St. Marys City Police Department reports investigating Wednesday's incident of a report of a subject who may have been in possession of a handgun. Police have identified the individual as a juvenile playing with an airsoft gun while waiting for transportation to school.
The Ridgway Area School District's Students of the Month were honored during Tuesday night's school board meeting.
Kindergartner Savannah Kite was selected as the elementary school Student of the Month. Savannah said she was very excited to receive the award. When she grows up, she said, she wants to become an artist because she likes to draw. If she could do anything to change the world she would recycle. Her teacher Laurie Burkett said Savannah is always on task, always polite, well behaved and is always a good friend. She has become an excellent student and a fantastic reader.
