The Ridgway Township Municipal Authority held their final meeting at 164 Ridgway Dr. Thursday night.
All meetings for the remainder of the 2013, beginning Thursday, April 4, will be held at the new township municipal building located at 1537 Montmorenci Rd.
Meeting are held the first Thursday of each month at 7 p.m.
CLARION â€“ The Ridgway Elkers overcame early foul trouble and a halftime deficit to drop Homer Center by a 63-39 score Friday night at Tippin Gymnasium on the Clarion University campus in the first round of the Class A state playoffs.
The Elkers were led by Sam Roselli, a strong force inside with nine field goals for 18 points, and standout senior Jesse Reynolds, who turned in 12 points for Ridgway.
Thomas J.Â Dulaney, 76, of Waynesburg, died at 1 a.m. Friday, March 8, 2013, at the Southwest Regional Medical Center in Waynesburg.
He was born Wednesday, Dec. 2, 1936 in Waynesburg, a son of the late Fred Dulaney and Madge Wright Dulaney.Â With the exception of seven years in Ridgway, Mr. Dulaney spent his entire life in Greene County.
Mary Lou Knapp DiNardo, 80, of 424 Water Street Extension, Johnsonburg, died early Thursday morning, March 7, 2013 at Elk Haven Nursing Home in St. Marys following a brief illness.
She was born on May 7, 1932 in Johnstown, daughter of the late LaRue and Mildred Hunter Knapp.
She had been married to John Murphy II and the late George DiNardo.
JOHNSONBURG â€“ In an effort to continue to offer athletic opportunities to area students, administration from the Ridgway and Johnsonburg Area School Districts have organized a joint proposal that was presented Thursday night in public meetings in both boroughs.
