ST. MARYS â The 4th Annual Kick the Crap Out of MS (Multiple Sclerosis) Outhouse Race is set to take over Market Street in downtown St. Marys on Saturday afternoon. Entries are being accepted until the day of the event and there is a cost to enter.
BUTLER âÂ Johnsonburg is making quite a habit of winning in the PIAA playoffs.
After a run to the state title game in basketball earlier this year, Johnsonburg baseball is no exception as the Rams won their PIAA playoff opener 5-0 over Western Beaver Monday afternoon at Pullman Park in Butler.
Johnsonburg will now play District 6 champion Bishop McCort Thursday in the PIAA quarterfinals with a game site and time yet to be announced.

Marigold S. Nelson, 68, of 102 Center St., Ridgway, passed away, Sunday, June 2, 2013, at home surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 10, 1945, in Concord, New Hampshire, the daughter of Harry and Shirley Woodworth Brown.
On July 1, 1967, she married John Nelson, he survives.
Edith E. Harriger, 94 was called home to be with the Lord on May 31, 2013. She passed away at home from natural causes. She was born July 1, 1918 in Halton.
Throughout her career, Mrs. Harriger owned a laundromat and a grocery store, ultimately retiring from the Franklin Mint. She retired to Florida in 1980.

A Johnsonburg man pleaded guilty in Elk County Court Friday to his part in the sexual assault of two teenage girls, allegedly picked up outside a St. Marys slumber party and forced to perform sexual acts with him and two other men.
A St. Marys woman charged with taking a vehicle from a car lot and causing over $2,000 in damage, forging over $4,000 in checks, and concocting a story about a Kersey kidnapping to police, pleaded guilty to charges in all three cases Friday.
The fourth defendant in a deer poaching case that culminated in Pennsylvania Game Commission Officers serving a search warrant at a St. Marys home was in Elk County Court Friday where he pleaded guilty to charges originating from the shooting of four antler-less deer outside of hunting season.
