ST. MARYS â€“ A newly installed fountain is now helping aerate and improve the quality of the water in a pond near the 13th hole at the Bavarian Hills Golf Course. According to Leroy Whitaker, President of the Board at Bavarian Hills, the water filling that pond, along with other ponds near it, forms the headwaters of West Creek, which runs into the Driftwood Branch.
Betty Blanche Claire Myers Rhines, 92 of Dade City, went to be with her Lord and Savior Monday, May 27, 2013 in Dade City. She was born Feb. 10, 1921 in Ridgway.
Betty was a retired PA School Teacher and attended the First Presbyterian Church in Dade City.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Thomas Henry and Harriett Claire Bowersox Myers; her husband, William C. Rhines; and her brother Charles Myers.
