JOHNSONBURG â€“ The Johnsonburg Area School District [JASD] received a clean financial audit from an external financial auditor during Thursday night's regular board of director's meeting.

Karen Sue Yorns, 44, of 429 Allenhurst Ave., Ridgway, died peacefully in her sleep on January 9, 2013.
She was born June 8, 1968, in Butler, the daughter of James Lilley and the late Doris E. Lillie Lilley.
Karen worked as a part-time hair stylist, she took care of her mom for Community Nurses and was a volunteer for CAPSEA for many years. She spent a lot of time in Corry, where many of her relatives still survive. In spite of her long standing, serious health issues, she remained a loving, caring, helping person. Truly a beautiful angel on earth.
