Kane District Court Judge Dave Engman said Friday that the bail for Douglas will remain at $750,000. However, the "bail type" is now listed as "unsecured" rather than "monetary."
Twila J. Welsh, 89, of 381 RC Metals Rd., Ridgway, died Thursday, Oct. 31, 2013 at Pinecrest Manor.
She was born June 29, 1924 in Renovo, the daughter of the late Ruben and Edna Steckenfinger Scrimshaw.
She married James F. Welsh, and he preceded her in death on Dec. 8, 1991.
She was a member of St. Leo's Catholic Church. Mrs. Welsh enjoyed baking, crocheting, crafts, and her camp in Cross Forks.

Mary Ann Sickeri, 78, of Caruso Road, Brockway, Tuesday, Oct. 29, 2013 at her sister Carolyn's home in DuBois after a short illness.
She was born Dec. 2, 1934 in DuBois, daughter of the late Samuel S. and Anna Radzik Skraba.
On Oct. 21, 1961, she Richard "Dick" Sickeri. He preceded her in death on Dec. 21, 1985.
She was a member at St. Tobias Church in Brockway where she was an active participant at daily morning mass. She also was a past Eucharist Minister, and served as the secretary of the St. Tobias Cemetery Board.

The Elk County Community Recycling Center has recently partnered up with eLoop LLC, a Pittsburgh-based electronics recycling center that operates throughout the state. eLoop will be the new collector of electronics for the center which recently ended its deal with Eco International who closed their doors late last month.
