Carl W. Cook, 80, of 1102 Horner Rd., Wilcox, died Friday morning, August 9, 2013 at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys following a brief illness.
He was born July 7, 1933 in Hazel Hurst, son of the late Carl R. and Lillian Dippo Cook.
He married Beverly Marlene Johnson on November 20, 1954 in the Wilcox Presbyterian Church, and she survives.
Formerly of James City, he resided in Wilcox since 1958.
He was a graduate of the Kane High School and a member of the Wilcox Presbyterian Church and Wilcox Sportsmen's Club.

Supervisors cut ribbon for William Tell Bridge

SPRING CREEK TWP. – A journey well over 10 years in the making finally came to an end Friday afternoon as the residents of Spring Creek Township ushered in a new beginning with a ribbon-cutting ceremony to open the new William Tell Bridge.
