ST. MARYS â€“ With preliminary work already under way on the construction project along SR 255 in St. Marys, another piece of the puzzle recently fell into place as demolition permits were issued for structures that are planned to be removed as part of the project.
Alyssa Jean Forsyth, 18, of German Settlement Road, Ridgway, passed away March 26, 2013.Â
Born Dec. 10, 1994, in Bradford, she was a daughter of Susan Compton Trumbull and the late John Edward Forsyth.
Alyssa was employed at Arete in Daguscahonda.Â She loved spending time with her nephew William Trumbull and her niece Sierra Trumbull, both of Las Vegas, Nev., and her little cousin Chloe Hepfner of Port Allegany.
JOHNSONBURG â€“ A Johnsonburg man has been charged with first degree murder and related offenses in the death of a young woman whose body was found by police Tuesday morning at an undisclosed site in Ridgway Township.
The Elk County Commissioners on Tuesday morning approved a subcontract stemming from the state Department of Health and the Elk County Sheriff's Department for the purpose of monitoring the control of the tobacco products in Elk and McKean counties.
