JOHNSONBURG â€“Â The Johnsonburg Borough Council heard from several area residents during Monday afternoon's meeting. Meeting attendees voiced their concerns over noise made by tractor trailers using engine brakes, commonly referred to as jake brakes, through town.

KANE â€“Â A change was made Friday in the bail for Kathleen S. Douglas-- a Kane woman facing manslaughter charges in a horrific Aug. 31 traffic accident that killed six.
Kane District Court Judge Dave Engman said Friday that the bail for Douglas will remain at $750,000. However, the "bail type" is now listed as "unsecured" rather than "monetary."
