JOHNSONBURG – The Johnsonburg Municipal Authority opened bids during Tuesday night's meeting for engineering services as outlined in a consent order and agreement proposed by the Department of Environmental Protection [DEP].
At the July meeting the Authority signed a consent order agreeing to take correction actions due to past violations to comply with the Safe Drinking Water Act.
JOHNSONBURG – An additional charge of theft by unlawful taking, a misdemeanor of the first degree, has been filed against a Ridgway woman already charged with embezzling insurance monies following a fire at her home.
The affidavit alleges that Nancy Jean Bodien, 36, of 45 Fremont Ave. in Ridgway, took into her possession a laptop computer belonging to the WDDH radio station following her resignation from the station on May 29, 2012.
