Ridgway Fire Department Chief John Wygant attended Monday night's Ridgway Borough Council meeting to report on a tractor trailer accident that tied up traffic on Boot Jack Road in Ridgway for about seven hours.
ST. MARYS â€“ The St. Marys Area United Way kicked off its fundraising drive recently at the Bavarian Fall Fest, and will collect money from area communities to provide funding for approximately 17 worthy organizations that help area residents.
Paul Stanley Bowser, infant, of 152 East Ave., Johnsonburg, died Friday evening, Oct. 12, 2012 at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys.
He was born on Oct. 12, 2012 in St. Marys, son of Robert Willis and Amber Michael Bowser Jr., who survive.
He was a member of the Johnsonburg First Baptist Church.
The former treasurer of the Ridgway Fire Department (RFD), currently awaiting trial on charges that he misappropriated more than $14,000 from the department through his position, is arguing that his actions were caused in part by early-onset Alzheimer's Disease.
