JOHNSONBURG - A Ridgway woman charged with theft after allegedly failing to return a laptop computer to her former employer following her resignation was in District Court Wednesday for a preliminary hearing before Magisterial District Judge George A. "Tony" King.
Representatives of the Williamsport-based Larson Design Group gave a presentation about their subsidiary company's treatment of water used in the gas and oil drilling industry to members of the Elk County Gas Task Force on Monday morning.

Ridgway started strong and controlled play for much of the match in a 5-0 victory over the Brockway Lady Rovers Wednesday night at Memorial Field in Johnsonburg.
