Martha J. Eicher, 97, of Pinecrest Manor, passed away Sunday morning, May 1, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Oct. 26, 1913 in Ridgway, the daughter of Martin and Anna Johnson Johnson. She was predeceased by her husband Walter L. Eicher. Mrs. Eicher had lived in Ridgway all of her life. She was a member of the Bethlehem Lutheran Church. She was a Registered Nurse in Ridgway and Elk County General Hospital, retiring in 1978.
Lola M. Haynes, 88, of Pinecrest Manor, passed away Monday, May 2, 2011, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 18, 1923, in Austin, the daughter of Harold and Delores Shepard Major. She married Lester E. Haynes, he predeceased her in October of 1958. Mrs. Haynes had been a Ridgway resident, since 1962. She was a member of the Trinity United Methodist Church, where she was also a member of the choir. She was a member of the American Legion Auxillary. She had been employed as a housekeeper for the Bogart Hotel.
