Cheyney D. “Duke” Mitchell, 43, of 507 Willard St., Ridgway, died unexpectedly on Monday, Feb. 28, 2011 at Bon Secours-Holy Family Hospital in Altoona.
He was born on June 15, 1967 in Ridgway, the son of the late Samuel and Patricia Russell Mitchell.
Duke was a lifelong Ridgway resident. He was a member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church. and he had been employed at Sylvania. He enjoyed video games and electrical gadgets.

Harold L. "Whitey" Leonberg

Harold L. "Whitey" Leonberg, 77, of 185 Larch Rd., St. Marys, died on Tuesday, March 1, 2011 at Elk Regional Health Center in St. Marys following a lengthy illness.
He was born Sept. 10, 1933 in Zelienople, a son of the late Harold and Stella May Brandstetter Leonberg.
On Feb. 8, 1962 in St. Leo's Church in Ridgway, he married Dorothy Buerk Leonberg, who survives.

Delbert Gale (Slim) Summerville

Delbert Gale (Slim) Summerville died on Wednesday, Feb. 23, 2011 at the Meritus Medical Center.
Born Sept. 12, 1922 in New Kensington, he spent most of his early years in Ridgway. He was the son of the late William Royd Summerville and Matilda McElroy Summerville.
