What a great effort in all three phases of the game, offensively, defensively and special teams. Our kids played their hearts out and you saw it."

Ridgway’s culture inspires hand-crafted sign

October 8, 2011

Ridgway’s wood and chainsaw carving culture runs deep through the area. It was the inspiration for the signage of the newest addition to Ridgway’s retail shops. Country Squirrel Outfitters located along Main Street where Love’s Canoes previously was has a six foot wide and seven foot high sign in the works for their store front.
The Heritage Council had given shop owners, Steve and Miranda (Neville) Putt a grant towards the sign.
“We were really excited when we got the grant for the sign,” Miranda said.
Putt said further that the design of the sign was inspired by Ridgway’s heritage.
