Frank Charles Giffi Sr., 94, of Reisterstown, Md. passed away on Jan. 2, 2011 in Baltimore. He was born on April 10, 1916 in Ridgway to the late Carmine and Clotilda Giffi. He was married to the late Mary Louise Stringer Giffi.
He was a resident of Ridgway for 53 years. He was a member of St. Leo’s Catholic Church in Ridgway and Sacred Heart Catholic Church, Glyndon, Md. He was a member of the Knights of Columbus, Moose Lodge, American Legion and Sons of Italy. He was a graduate of Ridgway High School and enjoyed playing all sports. He also enjoyed gardening and his grandchildren.
